Etymology[]
- The name Shuichi means "discipline, study, conduct oneself well, master" (修) (shu) and "one" (一) (ichi).
- Shuichi's surname Hishikura means "diamond (shape), water chestnut, rhombus" (菱) (hishi) and "warehouse, storehouse, barn, treasury, granary, cellar, magazine, godown, depository, elevator, storage place, repository, supply shed, grain elevator, stockpile, arsenal" (倉) (kura).
